Launchpad for Innovation & Future-Thinking (LIFT) is an ideation program aimed at engaging young Indonesian innovators in addressing pressing climate-related challenges within 2 challenge areas: Sustainable Tourism & Energy Transition

The competition are open for public from any background (college student, community leader, academicians, diaspora, to ideation-stage startup team) passionate in climate-related topic, business, and sustainable development.

The competition is open to Indonesian citizens residing both within Indonesia and abroad (diaspora).

The program is FREE of charge

• Applicants must be between 17 and 30 years old at the time of application.
• Participants must submit the applications  as a teams consist of min. 2 to 4 members.
• Each team must have at least one member present at all virtual and on-site program sessions.

• Administrative Selection: Evaluation of submitted forms for administrative purposes.

• Onboarding Session: The top 15 candidates selected after the initial screening will be invited to participate in the subsequent phase of the program.

• Ideation Lab: Series of workshops and 1 mentoring sessions aimed at assisting selected participants in refining their solution ideas in preparation for the next stage of the program.

• Top 6 Finalist Selection: Assessment to determine the participants who will advance to the Demo Day event in Jakarta.

• Networking Event: On-site gathering in Jakarta to facilitate connections and collaboration opportunities within the Lestari network.

• Demo Day: Concluding event where the best innovation idea will be chosen as the winner.

• Problem: Evaluate the depth of understanding and coverage of the problem addressed within the theme of the competition. 
• Solution: Evaluate the potential of the solution to create lasting positive change and its ability to be widely implemented.
• Impact reach: Evaluate the reach of the potential impact of the proposed solution expected to have. 
• Team Background: Evaluate the capability and suitability of the leader team or management team involved during the program.

Participants are allowed to write down newly developed ideas or use existing or previously developed solutions

The shortlisted teams will get access to a series of workshops that help them to develop their pitch solutions. The selected participants at the Demo Day stage will also have the opportunity to present their solutions in front of expert judges and get prizes totaling 40 million rupiah for the selected winners.
